Hi, I’m Ricky — the founder of Life Logistics.

This business wasn’t born from a corporate idea or a boardroom strategy. It was born from something real: the frustration of trying to find support for a family member I deeply cared about.

My loved one was still capable, proud, and living independently — she didn’t need a carer. She just needed help with the day-to-day complexities of modern life. Things like booking a tradesman, paying bills online, dealing with paperwork, or figuring out new technology. Simple things, but overwhelming when you’re trying to navigate them alone in later life.

The problem? Every option we found involved jumping through hoops — government assessments, application forms, long wait times, and a system that made her feel like she was being managed, not supported.

And on my end, I was juggling a full-time job, raising a family, and doing everything I could to help her. But the time we had together started to feel more like I was her assistant than her family. The quality time — the relaxed conversations, the laughs — was getting squeezed out by to-do lists and admin.

That’s when it hit me: surely there were others out there feeling this same pressure. Families torn between love and logistics. Seniors who don’t want or need “care” — they just want a hand, someone they can trust, who can lighten the load.

So I built Life Logistics — a service created from lived experience.
